Explore Reagan Education’s scholarships for student leaders and communicators

Earn a college scholarship and become part of Reagan Education’s network of exceptional students and young professionals who share a common desire to lead, serve, and have a positive impact on their communities. 

Since 2000, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute has supported roughly 575 student leaders nationwide with nearly $9.5 million in college scholarships. Could you be next?

Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars Program

Ventura County high school seniors who showcase leadership, character, communication skills, academic achievement, and commitment to the local community can earn a share of up to $50,000 annually in college scholarships. In addition to receiving money for college, Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars join a network of 243 student leaders from 30 Ventura County high schools who have received more than $900,000 in scholarships since 2000. 

Candidates must

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership, character, communication skills, academic achievement, and commitment to Ventura County
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Be citizens of the United States of America
  • Graduate from a high school in Ventura County, California during the current academic year (home-schooled high school seniors in Ventura County, California also are eligible)
  • Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic yeat

GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholars 

Become part of a diverse network of more than 215 student leaders attending college, pursuing graduate degrees, and working in careers ranging from medicine, law, education, business, nonprofit, and more. Recipients have been awarded $8.62 million to attend more than 120 college campuses across the country. 

  • Earn a $10,000 renewable scholarship - up to $40,000 total - for tuition, school fees, books, supplies, and on-campus room and board
  • Attend an exclusive, all-expenses-paid Scholars Retreat in California
  • Receive support throughout their leadership journeys in college and beyond

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrate the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship within their communities, schools, and workplaces
  • Display strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Be citizens of the United States of America
  • Be current high school seniors attending high school within the United States, (including any U.S. territories or commonwealths), and graduating in winter 2023 or spring 2024. Homeschooled applicants and applicants living on a U.S. Armed Forces base and attending high school outside the U.S. are eligible.
  • Plan to enroll in a full‑time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four‑year college or university in the United States for the entire 2024-2025 academic school year
