Is holiday all about relaxing?
Is holiday all about relaxing?
Here's our 10 point plan for making the most of your Summer holiday and ensuring its productive!

1. Rest!  You can only be productive if you rest, so take some well-deserved holiday time to sleep in a bit and relax

2. Read!  Holidays are the perfect opportunity to catch up on reading - if you don't want to carry lots of books use one of the many reading apps now available on your phone/ iPAD/ Kindle... Or you can even try a speed-reading app to power your way through synopses of popular title

3. See family and friends. Catch up with people you don't have enough time to see in your typical working week - holidays can be a great way to combine seeing friends and family, especially people who live a long way away

4. Eat well. With more time to cook try making something new on your holiday

5. Exercise. Walking, swimming, hiking - whatever you like - just get out and stretch those limbs

6. Try some new food - especially if you're in a new country or culture where the cuisine is different

7. Delete unused social media/ email accounts - holidays can be a good tie to tidy up on life admin and get rid of any redundant or distracting online accounts that you don't need anymore

8. Rest - did we mention this already?!

9. Drink lots of water - always a good general tip to throw in to any life hack list

10. Learn a new word - it's never too late to expand your vocabulary - in any language!
